Muovere & Periphery Public Showcase (DESVIO.M)
Included in the Funarte Program for Support of Ongoing Actions – Dance 2023, the Muovere TechLab 3.6 Project (Cycle 2) includes four execution axes. Among them, the Muovere and Periphery Axis proposes a space for experimentation that crosses dance, body, and territory.

The Muovere Dance Company moves to Parque Farroupilha (Redenção), in Porto Alegre — one of the most symbolic and diverse territories in the city — establishing a field of intersections between dance and city, body and community, margin and center.

Bringing together dancers from Muovere and groups from peripheral communities in Porto Alegre, the Public Showcase arises from the urgency of merging territories and realities, articulating groups of different backgrounds and sociocultural contexts.

Periphery and center, body and city, dance and everyday life meet in zones of intersection, where boundaries become porous and dance asserts itself as a language of encounter.
The Showcase proposes an open and improvised performance, permeable to the presence and participation of the spontaneous public — a living map of the relationships that build the city and reveal the multiple origins of dance.

Redenção becomes a stage and a collective body — a space of passage, coexistence, and crossing.
