DESVIO SINAL had its production benefited by the Municipal Fund to Support Artistic and Cultural Production of Porto Alegre (FUMPROARTE), in 2011. Funarte Klauss Vianna Street Arts Award in 2012. In 2017, it held the SESC São Paulo Arts Circuit and in 2018 was selected for the M.A.P.A.S (Mercado de Las Artes Performativas del Atlántico Sur), Tenerife, Canary Islands, ES. The language of dance-performance devised by Muovere Cia de Dança em DESVIO is a tool for interaction with drivers and passers-by, which, driven by the stimuli of the performers, produces core movements on the street. The public that passes by the location of the activity witnesses and becomes complicit in the gestural plurality captured in and from the urban space, expanding time through improvisation games and crossing the bodies watching and dancing side by side.
In the form of a dance and on the safety lane, DESVIO is influenced by traffic sign patterns hoping for educational motivations to appreciate people more and speed up engines less.
